The spirit of the Italian enoteca, or wine bar, is actually quite similar to the British pub – an inviting space devoted to casual drinking and simple, but delicious fare.
Grappolo’s bar is a tribute to both traditions, as we take the best from both to create an entertaining venue with one of London’s more eclectic Italian wine lists alongside modern cocktails with an Italian twist and a range of beers on tap.
A special word about our wine list, as we have spent months considering the appropriate bottles for it. After extensive tasting we have compiled a selection of our favourite regional Italian wines, many of which that are difficult – if not impossible to find – elsewhere in London. If you need help guiding your way through our wine menu, please ask one of our trained bartenders or servers. In addition to our more esoteric selection, we have included a range of well-known fine wines from Italy and abroad.
Join us for a traditional Italian aperitivo, or pre-dinner drink – something like a crisp glass of prosecco or an invigorating Negroni (gin, Martini rosso, and Campari) before your meal at Grappolo. Alternatively, our bar is also an ideal setting for a post-work drink and livelier team building sessions.
